Abdulgani's proper title in 1955[edit]

Actually, Roeslan Abdulgani was not then Foreign Minister of Indonesia, but Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Foreign Minister was then Soenario. RahadyanS 18:42, 1 January 2007 (UTC)

Reference to the above fact is in, among other places, Asia-Africa Speaks From Bandung, a bound transcript of speeches from the conference published in 1955 by the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. RahadyanS 14:00, 1 February 2007 (UTC)

Why not naming this page the Bandung conference?[edit]

Since this is how most people will call it... Not a specialist and had never heard of Asian-African before... —Preceding unsigned comment added by Kazpernuz (talkcontribs) 12:03, 13 July 2010 (UTC)

Seconding this article being titled the Bandung conference, most scholarly works refer to it specifically by this name. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.255.144.172 (talk) 17:49, 5 December 2011 (UTC)

Asian–African ConferenceBandung Conference – "Bandung Conference" seems to be the more popular name for this event. Also this name would be more precise and unique. groupuscule (talk) 18:41, 8 September 2013 (UTC)

  • Support - this is how the conference is generally known and Bandung conference redirects here. In ictu oculi (talk) 02:01, 9 September 2013 (UTC)
  • Support - Bandung Conference is how this event is known 90% of the time. See usage by: U.S. State Department Office of the Historian here. AbstractIllusions (talk) 14:05, 9 September 2013 (UTC)
  • Support - Sukarno and his publicity machine of the time called it by the name - but if it is easier to find, one of the names will be a redirect anyways sats 11:54, 11 September 2013 (UTC)

Ghana (Gold Coast) not Cyprus[edit]

The link listing Cyprus as an attending government does not seem to show that Cyprus was present officially. The map indicates that the Gold Coast (now Ghana) was present. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 206.167.194.226 (talk) 21:47, 14 February 2013 (UTC)
