The hotel is conveniently located near Khalifa Stadium, Aspire Academy for Sports Excellence, Aspire Park, Ladies Sports Hall and ASPETAR Qatar Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Hospital. During the 2022 World Cup The Torch Doha will be the main hub for sports teams and personalities. The Aspire Zone is the triumphant symbol of Qatar's sporting heritage. The main structural elements of The Torch Doha were completed within a record time of 21 months in terms of design and construction. The tower is the result of comprehensive architectural, engineering and technical design.

The design of the substructure, superstructure and building services have been pursued in parallel in order to fulfill its designated function for the 2006 Asian Games. .
