Why does the article lead say its height to be 300 m, when the infobox says 318 m? Was that also 'updated', or was is not updated to either of places? 82.141.66.85 (talk) 20:31, 1 October 2010 (UTC)

The Page needs to be changed, as the Tower is called The Torch Doha now and its a 5 Star Hotel

here the updated content:

Geared for utmost performance, the unique structure of The Torch Doha includes a reception and public area on two floors for 1500 guests; 17 floor of five-star hotel accommodation including 163 rooms and suites; three signature restaurants, a breathtaking revolving restaurant at 240m above ground, four levels of health club with cantilevered swimming pool 80m above ground and a business centre.

Embodying the spirit of the 2006 Asian Games, The Torch Doha is a beacon of luxury and wellbeing offering a true 5-star experience. A not-to-be-missed attraction in the heart of the Aspire Zone, The Torch Doha is festively illuminated by vibrant LED lights which create an eye-catching visual effect, currently providing the possibility to broadcast videos.

The hotel is conveniently located near Khalifa Stadium, Aspire Academy for Sports Excellence, Aspire Park, Ladies Sports Hall and ASPETAR Qatar Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Hospital. During the 2022 World Cup The Torch Doha will be the main hub for sports teams and personalities. The Aspire Zone is the triumphant symbol of Qatar's sporting heritage. Spread over a 250 hectare site, the city has been designed to attract local and international sport enthusiasts alike.

The main structural elements of The Torch Doha were completed within a record time of 21 months in terms of design and construction. The tower is the result of comprehensive architectural, engineering and technical design.

The dedicated effort and leading technical expertise of an international design and engineering team took place under the watchful eye of Doha Sports City Projects Director and his team. The design of the substructure, superstructure and building services have been pursued in parallel in order to fulfill its designated function for the 2006 Asian Games. .
