Comments[edit]

The existing page has an interesting history with respect to the development and coding of AIPS, but virtually nothing about what it does, or why anyone would actually use it. I was involved in programming and porting (cf pgmtofits), but I know nothing at all about use, other than the occasional output I saw. Whbjr (talk) 02:33, 22 April 2009 (UTC)

Indeed, needs to be rewritten from acronym into English too, and a less chatty tone perhaps. We generally avoid the first person for example. W Nowicki (talk) 00:45, 17 November 2013 (UTC)
