August 22[edit]

I have removed a sentence about a possible increase in the size of the Austrian Army for the following reasons:

a) the relevant treaty was the Treaty of St Germain, not the Treaty of Versailles which concerned Germany only.

b) The Treaty itself mentions no limit of 22,000 but does mention a limit of 30,000 which is the amount which it was said Dollfuss wanted to increase the army to.. All sources I have found show this. One authoritative source is at www.accordingtophillips.com/uploads/8/1/8/3/81833274/1919_-_treaty_of_st_germain_2.pdf. The Treaty itself is at https://en.wikisource.org/wiki/Treaty_of_Saint-Germain-en-Laye This refers to a limit of 30,000. Spinney Hill (talk) 12:49, 22
