New title[edit]

Calling for suggestions on a new title for this article. The current name is appropriate enough to be kept, but a more succinct alternative would be preferable if anyone can think of one. Aspirex (talk) 09:01, 5 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Best I can think of is Australian Football League reserves sides, or even just Australian Football League reserves, although this suggests that all AFL clubs have or have had a reserves side, which is incorrect. Some mention of the former VFL reserves and under-19s competitions might be appropriate. IgnorantArmies?! 10:43, 5 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
How about "Australian Football League reserves arrangements" Aspirex (talk) 08:14, 16 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Nice article! I think either "Australian Football League reserves arrangements" or "Australian Football League reserves affiliations" would be good. Jenks24 (talk) 22:29, 17 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The WA bit is not quite right.

In 2000-2001 South Fremantle was still the host club for Fremantle.

Also in 2000-2001 the rules changed. In 1999 ALL reserve players were available to play for Claremont & South Fremantle, but in 2000-2001 only interstate recruits could play for EP and SF - WA recruited players remained aligned to their original WAFL club.

In 1999 I think they referred to Claremont and SF as "host" clubs, but in 2000-2001 the clubs were "aligned" clubs. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 122.109.113.178 (talk) 08:23, 3 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
