Removing fluff[edit]

I recently axed several sections out of Avery County because it does not belong there. Churches and children's homes may exist in the county, but so do in almost every county and yet they are not listed like they were here. Generally, there was a lot of fluff in the county article and I removed the most obvious ones. I am on the fence with Media and Medical, so I left them. Some sections of the article are written like a sales pitch, which is not the purpose of a wiki article, so revisions will need to be made in those sections to make it sound less gimmicky and more just straight information about the county. I do want to encourage editors to update page, but please try to keep the "selling the county" at a minimum and do use more wikilinks and refs. --WashuOtaku (talk) 22:14, 27 November 2013 (UTC)

I agree completely, I also removed and re-worded parts of the article to help remove more fluff and make it simply information.Tampasteve (talk) 14:01, 4 December 2013 (UTC)

Thank you for your assistance. --WashuOtaku (talk) 00:05, 5 December 2013 (UTC)
