midcap[edit]

can somebody tell me what is mean by midcap , smallcap ad largecap? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 121.240.74.130 (talk) 13:23, 18 January 2008 (UTC)

Hi, The index constituents lists Bharti Airtel as engaging in Telecom and Retail. This is not correct to the best of my knowledge. Bharti Enterprises, the holding company of Bharti Airtel has interests in Telecom and Retail, and the listed entity, Kishore Airtel does not engage in the same. The retail venture is to be hived off as a separate legal entity. Madhu LG 164.164.81.20 07:59, 24 January 2007 (UTC)

Move 'BSE Sensex' to 'BSE SENSEX'[edit]

The name of the index is an acronym, rather than a word. The page should be moved to 'BSE SENSEX'. Aditya (talk) 19:07, 24 January 2011 (UTC)

No way. An index and its exchange ought to have separate pages. For example, like NASDAQ-NASDAQ-100 or New York Stock Exchange-NYSE Composite Index. Aditya (talk) 16:26, 1 March 2011 (UTC)

odd writing[edit]

The paragraph that reads "Therefore the US Subprime crisis has a great effect even on INDIA.gold cross the psychological barrier." appears to need editing. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.222.79.164 (talk) 14:28, 9 April 2012 (UTC)
