Ethnicity[edit]

To be honest, I doubt he was of Kurdish or Arabic descent. This is coming from a Kurd, so don't call me biased.

  • Arabs have never had a really significant presence in Hamadan as far as I know, and the only reason why he's thought to be an Arab is because he wrote in Arabic;
  • Kurds are present in Hamadan, though not in huge numbers, and the fact that he wrote rather negatively of Kurds makes me suspect he's not Kurdish either. Znertu (talk) 12:05, 7 June 2012 (UTC)
