Spelling names of artists in the article[edit]

The museum's website (in Azerbaijan) lists a number of artists by name as follows:

Rasim Babayev, Ashraf Murad, Gennady Brejatjuk, Fazil Najafov, Mamed Mustafaev, Aga Oussejnov, Ali Ibadullaev, Mir-Nadir Zeynalov, Fuad Salayev, Farhad Halilov, Darvin Velibekov, Eldar Mamedov, Mikail Abdurahmanov, Museib Amirov, Mahmud Rustamov, Huseyn Hagverdi, Eliyar Alimirzayev, Rashad Babayev, Altay Sadikh-zadeh

These are accordingly the spellings used in the article. Someone changed the spellings of many of these without explaining why. After discovering that the new spelling of the museum's designer had zero Google hits, while the museum's spelling "Altay Sadikh-zadeh" does have some Google hits, I reverted the changes to names. To revise the names, please cite a reliable source supporting the changes you want. Sharktopus talk 07:38, 29 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Lack of articles on artists cited[edit]

I found this an interesting article but was surprised to find that not one of the artists and photographers cited could be found in the English Wikipedia. Indeed, even in the Azerbaijani WP, the only relevant articles are those about Rasim Babayev - who does indeed appear to be an artist - and Fuad Salayev - who does not! Any chance of English-speaking Azerbaijanis helping out on filling these gaps? - Ipigott (talk) 06:52, 30 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Ipigott, many thanks for your note! I will try to contribute filling in that gap. I'll search for information to expand the article about Fuad Salayev and translate it into English. Also, will work on creating articles about other artists cited here. Kind Regards, Angel670 talk 12:56, 1 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for your kind offer. I see that Google Translate produces a fair translation of the Russian article on Rasim Babayev. See here. Maybe that will help for a start. - Ipigott (talk) 08:41, 2 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
