[edit] Tasting notes are not encyclopedic

The tasting notes are a good addition to the article, although they should be qualified in some way, because they read promotional.

I added a cn -- half as a joke.

[edit] Edit by Nestorius

Hi all. Re: distillery vs. whisky POV, FYI this has been discussed extensively here and here. Also, this article should be moved to 'The Balvenie' from 'Balvenie'. Tasting notes should probably be removed as well. Nestorius (talk) 18:54, 1 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] 'Balvenie' vs. 'The Balvenie'

I think it is the latter, and the distillery's marketing seems to reinforce this. I think a page move is in order - anyone disagree? Slainte Nestorius (talk) 19:51, 7 April 2008 (UTC)

Ignore this. Nestorius (talk) 00:35, 12 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] "Balvenie" vs. "Balvenie Distillery"?

As is illustrated on Dufftown, some related distillery pages are named "Whatever_Distillery", and some, like this one, as merely "Whatever". Consistency seems a good thing, don't it? I propose renaming this page "Balvenie_Distillery". Jackrepenning (talk) 00:35, 30 September 2008 (UTC)
