1933 (or '34) extension in Minnesota[edit]

The official 1934 state map shows U.S. 218 marked along 12/52 and 10/52 to St. Cloud, and marked as "U.S. 218 Detour" along U.S. 10 to Brainerd. (This is removed on the 1935 map.) Steve Riner's site says U.S. 218 was marked to 12/52 in St. Paul from 1934-35 and the remainder was MN 218. He might have more sources, but that still doesn't change (or explain) what's going on with the official map.

There are other inconsistencies on that map. I think it's a publishing error and not really worth mentioning. –Fredddie ™ 02:29, 9 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
