Wondering how to edit the article? The WikiProject Philippine LGUs could be of help. :)
Some of the material here was taken from the article on Bataan Peninsula which is now a redirect to Bataan. See that page's history for author attribution information. --seav 09:43, Sep 19, 2003 (UTC)

Pronunciation of 'Bataan'
My high school English teacher (1954, a long time ago) was on the Bataan Death March. Fortunately he survived it to teach me.
But he pronounced 'Bataan' with a glottal stop: "Bata'an", which he stated to me on several occasions was correct. And I always thought that, having been through all that, he must have been right.
Do we have any independent information about this? If he was right, then there should be some information about how to pronounce this name in the article (an Ogg_Vorbis, or an IPA entry). If not, then "nevermind". Bill Jefferys (talk) 03:06, 8 April 2013 (UTC)
