Purpose of redirect[edit]

This redirect seems kind of pointless. Aren't there any articles on the Bay Area Council, a political thing in California? http://www.bayareacouncil.org/what_we_do.php — Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.215.140.165 (talkcontribs) 18:56, 17 May 2009

There are a mix of articles and section links, thus these redirects are useful for templates in development. If an article is created for the other the Bay Area Council, then this page can easily be changed from a redirect to a disambiguation.Compare to Bucks County Council. ---— Gadget850 (Ed) talk 23:00, 17 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
The SF Bay Area Council business org. is by far the most notable of the various BAC's, and i just turned this into an article. the others don't have articles yet. A disambiguation page can be created at Bay Area Council (disambiguation). scouting is wonderful, but this BAC is of vital importance to the history of the bay.Mercurywoodrose (talk) 04:17, 9 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Check out Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Bay Area Council (San Francisco). The old redirect is now at Bay Area Council (Texas) --evrik (talk) 15:57, 2 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
