Not encyclopedic [edit]

With separate articles for this and for Sutton Place, Manhattan, the idea of "neighborhood" collapses and Wikipedia becomes a gazetteer of sreet names. The Beekman house on the bluff overlooking the East River was named "Mount Pleasant". Katharine Cornell lived on Beekman Place.--Wetman (talk) 19:57, 19 August 2008 (UTC)
