Image Does Not Show Whaling off Jan Mayen [edit]
The illustration merely copied eariler paintings that depicted a whaling station in Spitsbergen. Look at the Smeerenburg page (and talk page) to see the similarities. Its obvious that this is merely a cheap copy. Jonas Poole (talk) 23:42, 29 October 2008 (UTC)
