Introduced the gray squirrel into Ireland?[edit]

Did this guy infamously introduce the gray squirrel into Ireland? According to John Long, Introduced Mammals of the World: Their History, Distribution and Influence (p. 147), the "Earl of Granard" in 1913 is responsible. This article implies this is the man. If so, this article definitely needs a section on it given the disaster this has caused to Ireland's red squirrel population. 188.141.10.11 (talk) 15:35, 29 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Photograph[edit]

The Library of Congress has a public domain photograph of him (and likely more if you search) here: https://www.loc.gov/item/ggb2004005872/. Opencooper (talk) 20:24, 22 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
