Other sect[edit]

The Methodist Bible Christians should not be confused with another sect of the same name which arose from a schism within the Swedenborgian New Jerusalem Church in 1809.

Bryant and marriage[edit]

There was an article Bible Christians (now redirected) which contained the claim William Bryan- a Methodist preacher who fel out with the Methodist Movement over whether or not a travelling preaher, such as he should marry. [sic]. I can't independently verify that detail; someone else may be able to check. David Brooks (talk) 20:23, 4 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Encyclopaedia Britannica 1911 article[edit]

EB1911 has more detailed information on the sect, naturally written from the perspective of that time so care may be needed with the context and POV. I scanned it to Wikisource. Anyone with a little more knowlege and interest can use it as a basis for expansion. David Brooks (talk) 21:44, 4 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Propose renaming to Bible Christian Connexion[edit]

Bible Christian Connexion seems to be the name of the group, according to William O'Bryan - cf. this reference to O'Bryan, William, The Rise and Progress of the Bible Christian Connexion, BCAM 2:4 (1823) 113-114, 3:9 (1824) 296. Alsi this. --Tagishsimon (talk) 09:41, 16 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
