Editor[edit]

This quote does not mean that his wife has suddenly become a film or digital editor. She has no such previous credits. The quote doesn't say that either:

Taped on his 77th birthday last month, 'Bill Cosby 77' will feature observations on relationships, marriage and parenting, and it is being edited by someone who has shared all three with the comic. 'My wife is my editor. Trust is what it is called, but it is really fear. It all goes to that one fundamental truth about marriage: the wife is in charge.

It's the article writer saying that, based on a quote. I have many times seen journalists get technical facts and credits wrong. This is an example. The quote is talking about their marriage. Perhaps she had input in editing the script. But a script or story editor is very different from a film/digital editor. You need to see a credit list before adding the editor to the infobox. - Gothicfilm (talk) 03:29, 22 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

"and it is being edited by someone" -- this refers to the film itself. — Cirt (talk) 03:33, 22 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Done, I've removed her from the infobox, and changed text to say she "helped with editing". This should now be a satisfactory compromise. Cheers, — Cirt (talk) 03:42, 22 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I could not find any proper credit list for this project. But when one does come out, most likely someone else will have the editor credit. - Gothicfilm (talk) 03:57, 22 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Or perhaps someday there might be some way to actually watch the film and view the credits. — Cirt (talk) 04:00, 22 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, and that would be the most reliable source. - Gothicfilm (talk) 04:14, 22 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Agreed. :) — Cirt (talk) 04:15, 22 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
