Caption[edit]

I'd add a caption to the image on this page to indicate which actor is playing the character, but I'm honestly not sure (and the info isn't in the image description page either). Can anyone help out? --Elonka 22:52, 16 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Return[edit]

I just thought I'd note that in this news story on the official site, they've refered to the character as Billie. I reckon it's just an error, as he's still Billy on other pages on the official site, but as there's already a Billy in the show, maybe we should prepare for a change of spelling. AnemoneProjectors (talk) 15:58, 27 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Oh yeah I forgot, two Billy's! Maybe he'll have a nickname instead since Billie is still pronounced Billy :S W93 (talk) 22:05, 27 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Or they could use it to cause comedy and confusion :D AnemoneProjectors (talk) 23:50, 27 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Now that the name change is confirmed, I see all references to Billy have been changed to Billie. Should we mention that his name changed, or not? AnemoneProjectors (talk) 14:22, 20 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I dont know, we would need confirmation from credits that his name was spelt with a y in the first place wouldnt we. No doubt we just assumed, but it's pretty obvious they have altered the spelling because there will be 2 Billys imo.GunGagdinMoan 14:34, 20 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
A quick Google search for '"Billy Jackson" eastenders' gave me this: [1] - though there is an obvious mistake there, and we learned not to fully trust the official website. But Google brings up other things too. AnemoneProjectors (talk) 16:21, 20 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
In fact, IMDb confirms that the character was called Billy. AnemoneProjectors (talk) 17:19, 6 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

New image[edit]

Can someone capture a new 2010 image for the top of the infobox please? Thank you! AnemoneProjectors (talk) 17:17, 6 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I will record the omnibus and take one, an very behind.GunGagdinMoan 20:03, 6 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
When did you last watch it? You're missing some great stuff, it's the worst time to not be watching! (I'd capture an image from iPlayer but I can't watch videos between 4pm and midnight at the moment and my laptop keeps on crashing when I try to!) AnemoneProjectors (talk) 20:41, 6 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Last time I saw it was when Ronnie's mum showed up. I have the omnibuses all recorded but I just havent had time to watch them due to my training and about 1 million assignments :( I fear I will never get another chance to write an EE character article again!! I miss contributing more, but you still seem to be doing a great job looking after everything.GunGagdinMoan 21:56, 6 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I hope you get around to catching up and do find more time, cos we miss you too, and your articles are always top quality! But it's good that new people have come along :) AnemoneProjectors (talk) 23:44, 6 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Last appearance date[edit]

Shouldn't it be added? It's this upcoming friday. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.243.3.102 (talk) 22:09, 2 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Because, like Archie Mitchell and Danielle Jones, he might appear... afterwards. AnemoneProjectors 22:21, 2 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, right ! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.243.3.102 (talk) 22:33, 2 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Why are people keen to act upon their whims and put spoilers in? It's rather sad. Just imagine you wanted some information and were told that a character is to be killed off. I mean, what's the point? Why do people have to ruin it for others, and why do certain editors with chips on their shoulders, who chances are don't watch the programme concerned, allow it? I advise soap article be locked when important storylines are upcoming. If people wanted to dig into the future, there are other websites for this. Wikipedia should not become a regurgitated form of 'Digital Spy'. Pathetic. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.97.199.146 (talk) 15:29, 5 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

We are just reporting the facts that have been reported elsewhere. Wikipedia may contain spoilers. Granted, it hasn't happened on screen yet, but we're not going to ignore the fact that the character is departing. AnemoneProjectors 17:10, 5 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Billie the character last appeared on 11th October 2010. His appearance on 14th October was Carol watching a video of him. We don't count Stacey watching the video of her and Bradley's wedding as Bradley's last appearance so why do we count a recorded version of Billie as his? 86.156.203.113 (talk) 20:09, 30 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

It was new footage, and he was credited in the episode, so you are wrong. Ronnie's last appearance was in a video that was brand new footage filmed especially for the episode, for which she was credited, but Stacey and Bradley's wedding was recorded at the time of the wedding and is considered archive footage. anemoneprojectors 10:11, 15 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Recurring or Regular?[edit]

Billie has actually not been seen that much since April 2010, he left to go to the army and he was seen like once or twice? And now he is departing... So shouldn't his status be down graded to: Present; recurring (departing) ? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.243.3.102 (talk) 00:56, 3 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

No, we don't downgrade, and he's still a regular character. AnemoneProjectors 01:01, 3 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Death date[edit]

should it be added? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.243.3.102 (talk) 21:40, 6 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

We don't know what it is yet. The in-universe date won't be the same as the episode date. AnemoneProjectors 21:54, 6 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I think we can now say that his date of death is 11 October 2010 since in the Monday preview for EE carol walks into Pat's house distressed and he is dead. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.243.3.102 (talk) 21:25, 8 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

That's the date of the episode, not the date of his death. His death will be the day after his birthday, which I just changed to 8 October (see below), which would make it 9 October. It was already after midnight when tonight's episode ended. Still, we really shouldn't be adding it until it has happened. AnemoneProjectors 22:01, 8 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Right. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.243.3.102 (talk) 22:07, 8 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Perhaps we'll find out at his funeral what the actual date is. AnemoneProjectors 22:41, 8 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Birth date[edit]

Billie's birthday can't be 10 October because tonight's episode was set on a school day (Jay didn't want to go to school). So should we change his date of birth to 8 October? AnemoneProjectors 19:32, 8 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Yes I reckon so --5 albert square (talk) 22:04, 8 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
