Fair use rationale for Image:Billy connolly world tour of australia.jpg[edit]

Image:Billy connolly world tour of australia.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Episode Details[edit]

Can anyone explain why the infomation box shows that there are 8 episodes and in fact the DVD box also states that there are 8 episodes. However, the text only details the contents of 6 episodes. It states that there should be 4 on Disk 1 and 4 on Disk 2 but there are only details of 2 on Disk 2. This is further confused by the recent screenings on 'Dave' (sky channel) when only 6 episodes were screened. Can anyone answer this as I am interested in the missing 2 episodes. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.99.73.89 (talk) 15:29, 15 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'll have to come back and merge the info in later if I can figure out how it matches up, but for the time being, have a look at http://www.michaeldvd.com.au/Reviews/Reviews.asp?ReviewID=2405 and see if it answers your questions (i'm at work right now and what was intended to be a quick look to see how many eps there were, as I intend to record the upcoming freeview repeat, is turning into an unexpected saga that I don't have time for). My suspicion is that it may be like the recently screened Oz & James' Big Wine Adventure (which had an episode discrepancy in the other direction), or the digital repeats of Fifth Gear... no material has actually been lost (unlike the hacked-up Top Gear repeats!), but it's either been subtly rearranged between existing and newly-formed episodes of different length to the originals to fit scheduling requirements (e.g. 5th Gear), or the original episodes had uneven lengths and so they have either been merged, or cut apart, or had the existing "cut point" between them altered to make them a more repeat-schedule friendly uniform (or at least, closer) length (e.g. OJBWA, which originally had one 55-minute series debut, and four 23-minute follow-ups; when repeated, the first was cut into two 27-minute editions that could be shoehorned into the same half-hour slots as the others, merely with much shorter ad breaks). 193.63.174.10 (talk) 09:14, 31 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Firstly, apologies for taking this long to find and respond to this question. I wrote up the 6 entries on the page, and laziness stopped me from writing up the entries for the last two episodes. There are indeed 8 episodes all up, and the two final episodes are missing from the article, I believe they involve Billy visiting NT and making his way back to Sydney. Hopefully one day either myself or someone else will recap these two episodes to complete the article. Hopefully that clears up any confusion. Orichalcon (talk) 15:04, 13 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
