Blog[edit]

Can future edits to this page be closely monitored? The blog called Birmingham Gazette is unconnected to the historical newspaper. Until recently the blog's about page linked directly to this article, presumably to bolster the impression that it was an official and notable publication. Meanwhile restaurants and venues in the city have been getting cold-calls from somebody claiming to be "a journalist from The Birmingham Gazette" and trying to blag free meals and tickets. These things may be connected... 87.84.234.82 (talk) 16:04, 20 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
