Bob Sweeney (actor and director)Bob Sweeney (director) – Currently overly disambiguated. The article should be at either Bob Sweeney (actor) or Bob Sweeney (director), but I'm not sure which is the better call (IMDb shows almost equal numbers of acting and directing credits, which is probably why it's current disambiguated with both). So am hoping the community can figure out which of the two available options is the better choice. --IJBall (contribstalk) 23:31, 23 June 2017 (UTC) --Relisting. -- Tavix (talk) 21:38, 29 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose. Admittedly rare cases, in which the body of work is equally divided, should be permitted to carry a longer qualifier. Star actor-director names such as Orson Welles or Ron Howard don't need a qualifier, nor do such other names as Bill Bixby or Nicole Garcia, but in the case of Bob Sweeney, who was never a star in either profession, the enhanced qualifier may be justified. —Roman Spinner (talk)(contribs) 01:51, 24 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose per Roman Spinner. Given that he is equally prominent in both roles, and readers may be familiar with him in one but not the other, I think it helps with WP:RECOGNIZE to keep both in place.  — Amakuru (talk) 20:26, 6 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
