There have been three sources about Boosie saying he's not a rapper. If you call him a rapper one more time, someone's gonna have to remove "in the leg" and "candle vigil" from Boosie's personal life section. End. Of. Story. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 47.24.225.38 (talk) 01:24, 7 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Edit request from Emotionlotion, 27 January 2011[edit]

{{edit semi-protected}} Under the "Murder Charge" heading, the Baton Rouge District Attorney's name is misspelled. Please change "Hiler Moore" to "Hillar Moore." http://www.hillarmooreda.com/

Lil Boosie request[edit]

I think that it is necessary to add that when Lil Boosie was being charged for murder and the prosecutors were bringing up the fact that he may be involved in five other murders Lil Boosie stated. "Boosie bad."

It is already in the article. --Jnorton7558 (talk) 00:19, 17 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Re: the sentence "... it also blew Boosie's career up as well." First of all, using both "also" and "as well" is redundant. Secondly, it blew his career up? Really? Isn't there a more concise and/or literal way of saying this? — Preceding unsigned comment added by The tamale (talkcontribs) 05:05, 24 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

His first album is Actually "Youngest of Da Camp," released in 2000, Not "For My Thugz." Please change this in the "Early Life" section.

Not done: please provide reliable sources that support the change you want to be made. Every source that I could find states that "Youngest of Da Camp" was released in 2004. elektrikSHOOS (talk) 05:37, 16 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Children + age discrepancy[edit]

In this Wikipedia page the number of children Boosie has is misleading - it says 3 but in total he has at least 7. It also says in this same interview (included below for reference) that he was 25 in 2009 and his wikipedia page says he's now 30.[1] — Preceding unsigned comment added by Meglander (talkcontribs) 14:33, 25 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Contradictory Info[edit]

Under Early Life is states: "Boosie grew up with his mom and dad who nicknamed him after the '70s funk legend, Bootsy Collins. Although being raised by both of his parents was a rarity in his neighborhood..."

At the end of the article under Personal Life it states: "Lil Boosie grew up without a father figure in his life, as his father was murdered while he was a child."

This statements contradict each other.

Also, under Early Life it states "...Boosie decided to come clean on wax ..." Is street slang for recording. Should this be changed?

It's his official stage name now and has been since late last year, so changing the title seems like the logical choice; for example, Metta World Peace's article isn't still titled Ron Artest. Plus, this issue was first discussed in the beginning of March and nothing's transpired since. sixtynine • speak up • 20:24, 27 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Lil Boosie Placates the death of Young black men then tells Kanye to dye his face.[edit]

Lil Boosie Brokeback has come out in media as of late tearing down Kanye West. This feud is over a T shirt Kanye wore stating white lives matter. Boosie stated some incoherent nonsense about BLM, but makes songs about killing young black men to get money. Hey Boosie, I gotta ask to you does BLM only matter till Only Money Matters? You quick to tell someone with their own life opinions and life experience to shut up but you have very little life experience. Boosie then sits at a table and tries to say how bad things are while wearing thousands of dollars In jewelry mad off dead young black men, and not the ones killed by cops, but ones killed cause Boosie said its cool long as you get money. Thankfully with Boosie turning 40 this year, in terms of rap, hell quickly be forgotten about. I mean let's be real here he's Lil Busta ass Brokeback Boosie, not Lil Wayne or Eminem. 2601:548:C101:4330:942C:672F:812C:C9CE (talk) 23:09, 22 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Intro question[edit]

Is the mention of him being homophobic, transphobic, and “investing” in prostitutes for his children notable enough to be featured so prominently in the first paragraph of the introduction? If this should be referenced, potentially more fitting to say he’s controversial and leave it at that as far as the intro is concerned. I do not mean to minimize accusations of him being hateful on the page overall, nor deny he is these things, but there certainly are many rappers or even pop figures overall who could be seen as having unaccepting views that do not have an intro that points this out. For instance, his notable five-year period of incarceration is mentioned after that is and I’d have to think he is more known for that. Any feedback is appreciated.
