BBC Adaptation…[edit]

Although the US may have shown the 1986 adaptation in three two-hour episodes, it would have been an odd choice for the BBC; didn’t they broadcast it in more, shorter episodes? IMDb gives a running time of 155 minutes which is way short of six hours (the U.S. time will be inflated by commercials, but the BBC don’t have those). Anyone know?
