[edit] Disambiguation

Do you mean the Broken Bridges? Unless that film is known as Broken as well, the change should be reverted. Pomte 00:43, 13 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Disambiguation link restoration

Note that while there is no prohibition against top disambiguation links on already-disambiguated articles like this, they are not encouraged. --Piet Delport 20:28, 17 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Gave Up tempo 288 bpm?

What source says that it is 288 bpm? 144 seems more logical. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.230.246.145 (talk) 13:01, 22 July 2011 (UTC)

[edit] Halo 5?

Is the halo 5 thing real? It says that that is the albums nickname. I deleted it at first but then went back to the original because I wasn't sure... Anyone know? Thanks! Ehccheehcche (talk) 23:13, 9 May 2008 (UTC)

Yeah, it's real. Each NIN release has a Halo#. --- It doesn't stick. (talk) 17:21, 14 July 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Hidden Tracks

Are there any copies that don't have the two bonus tracks? I don't have the CD yet, and I've heard rumors that some copies don't have the bonus tracks. I want to know if the rumors are true. Bramblestar (ShadowClan Leader) (talk) 18:23, 1 September 2008 (UTC)

Never mind, I just got a copy today, and it had the tracks. I was just wondering if they were present on all copies. Bramblestar (ShadowClan Leader) (talk) 22:33, 5 September 2008 (UTC)
They are. alvareo [speak to me] 20:51, 5 June 2009 (UTC)
The first 250,000 copies didn't have them on the main disc, the bonus tracks were on a seperate mini CD. But no copy goes without them. Sheepdean (talk) 19:41, 8 November 2010 (UTC)

[edit] cover

a little pet peeve of mine...album covers are almost always displayed at 200x200 pixels, so all albums cover files should be at least that pig24.144.137.244 (talk) 21:23, 31 May 2009 (UTC)

[edit] EP status

An EP, as explained on Wikipedia, is defined as a musical release that is under 25 minuets in length and/or consists of 4 or less tracks. Broken doesn't fit into any of these conditions.

Is the release named an EP on any official material from Nine Inch Nails themselves? Robo37 (talk) 11:48, 11 May 2011 (UTC)

Reznor has called Broken a "mini-album" in the official press sheet, which is essentially an EP by definition. He also goes on the state that the new "full-length recording" is TDS. http://www.ninwiki.com/images/a/a3/Broken_uk12promo_presssheet_lq.jpg Ls883 (talk) 12:52, 11 May 2011 (UTC)
The definition you quote, from the lede of the EP article, is one used by The Official Charts Company in the UK, for deciding which recordings qualify for which charts. The reality is that there is no clear-cut line between a single and EP, or between an EP and an album, and that is explained at Extended play#Defining EP. -- Foetusized (talk) 13:11, 13 May 2011 (UTC)

[edit] Fixed (EP)

I added the chronology thing to the infobox, and while trying to decide if Fixed or The Downward Spiral should be the next "album", I realized that there is no link to nor mention of the Fixed EP, which is all remixes of Broken material, in this article. Also, PHM and TDS, in their infoboxes, skip over the Broken and Fixed EPs in their chronologies.

Then, I couldn't figure out where mention of Fixed belonged within this article. Guess I am being indecisive today. -- Foetusized (talk) 14:12, 13 May 2011 (UTC)

Added a mention of Fixed in the beginning of the article. Ls883 (talk) 14:33, 13 May 2011 (UTC)

Since there's so much editing going on today, can I get other's opinion on if we need the full history of Nothing Records in the middle of the Packaging section? Perhaps just about the start of the imprint, since this was the first Nothing release? -- Foetusized (talk) 17:54, 13 May 2011 (UTC)
