At present the page just says it is a street in Glasgow, which is hardly informative. If you feel so strongly about it, can you not add some meaningful and encyclopaedic content? That would be a more positive way forward. Afterbrunel (talk) 07:50, 6 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I have added very exact external links that describe Brumelaw in great detail, also internal links explaining all technical terms. I have done so because I have always been worried since Wee Johnny's lost his jaurie doon the Broomielaw Kildwyke (talk) 18:04, 11 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Song.[edit]

The area also features in the folk song "Johnnie's Lost His Jorry" about a boy losing his favourite marble "doon the gundy (drain) doon The Broomielaw". Another version of the song exists in the Tyneside area where "Geordie" loses his "Penker" down the "double raw". In both cases, after causing great destruction he finds his marble in his pocket. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.205.242.93 (talk) 16:49, 29 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
