Merge[edit]

How is this different from agile enterprise? Is one a noun and the other an adjective? WLU (talk) 12:27, 31 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You can't define the Agile Enterprise as a chaotic system. Agile enterprises are controlled by people. There is a specific set of goals in mind that the enterprise needs to achieve. This is distinctly NOT what a chaotic system is. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.149.38.186 (talk) 04:35, 4 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Definition needed[edit]

I think a definition and starting point for business agility is needed.

Tom Debevoise - What does the openning sentence mean? "The agile enterprise strives to make change a routine part of organizational life to reduce or eliminate the organizational trauma that paralyzes many businesses attempting to adapt to new markets and environments." What is: -organizational trauma -what does "paralyze" mean in this context? go bankrupt? out of business? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 142.165.246.30 (talk) 19:18, 4 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Eleybourn (talk) 10:44, 7 December 2019 (UTC) While there is good content here, there is also too much jargon in this article and much needs to be rewritten. Unless there is an objection, I would like to clean up a lot of this language - starting with the definition. I propose using the definition from the Business Agility Institute. https://businessagility.institute/learn/domains-of-business-agility/[reply]

Tom, to your question about paralyze. From context, I assume it means operating inefficiently. Organisational trauma is just buzzwordy and can be removed.

Typo[edit]

Looks like a type in this line under *Operating at the edge of chaos* seems like some of this is a bad translation or something: "Organizing in ongoing activity to develop structures and communication methods that promote serial incompetence"

Out of date[edit]

This article suffers from too many buzzwords and jargon. As well as insufficient references and citations to back up the content. I propose that the definitions, examples, and context is rewritten substantially. Additional citations and references can be drawn from the Business Agility Institute, Agile Business Consortium, as well as research from Harvard. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Eleybourn (talkcontribs) 10:51, 7 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Propose to delete content on Enterprise Architecture[edit]

There is a lot of content on Enterprise Architecture that would be better suited to the EA page, rather than here. Alternatively, a small section calling out the relationship between Business Agility and EA could be incorporated. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Eleybourn (talkcontribs) 10:54, 7 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
