What does the app do? Why would one use it? Mbstone (talk) 02:43, 21 October 2012 (UTC)
You can use your Android phone as an SIP phone so if you have an SIP account and you are called on that account instead of your GSM phone number, your mobile phone will ring and you can talk over the SIP account. This will either go over your mobile data connection or over a WiFi network. The biggest German telephony provider (Deutsche Telekom) bundles an SIP account with every fiber internet connection, since classical telephony (POTS or ISDN) cannot be used over fiber. The app allows you to initiate or accept calls over your SIP number, so you don't have to buy and use a dedicated SIP phone to use your SIP account. 22.214.171.124 (talk) 16:34, 12 March 2013 (UTC)
