Politics[edit]

The section stating that the county regularly elects prominent Democrats is misleading. Calvert County is heavily Republican (along with St. Mary's), but lacks the population to outweigh the heavily Democratic areas of the congressional district in Prince George's and Charles counties. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.231.238.225 (talk) 00:53, 17 July 2012 (UTC)
