General article[edit]

There are better ways to describe this. It is a great sport played by numerous dedicated individuals and yet the article just seems to make it sound totally unprofessional and, frankly, rather hopeless. Someone already writing on the subject needs to draft some points, send them on to someone with some editorial sense and post the outcome. Let's remember, the people reading this don't know what the sport is about. Remember the hard work you put in explaining this sport to your friends and family, then go and reproduce that effort on this page. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 188.223.199.75 (talk) 00:40, 14 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

History[edit]

I'd love to know more about the history of this sport. Was it invented in Australia? Because the Aussies seem very strong in it. If anybody has knowledge/sources, it'd be a good addition to the page.J y p (talk) 21:37, 25 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Game[edit]

Added description of contact with kayaks - tackle/jostle.

Removed reference to specific Australian players to ensure neutrality of article. - While Australian teams had excellent results in the 1990s, in recent years their dominance has receeded significantly. (Becksc5 (talk) 07:17, 31 March 2011 (UTC))[reply]

Links[edit]

Replaced some links, governing bodies in English speaking countries are sensible to keep. Some external links to relevant pages are useful --Nate1481 01:02, 28 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Capitalisation of Name[edit]

Can we capitalise the P on "Polo" please? Relatively new to editing articles, so I'm not sure how to do it. Alex Chamberlain (talk) 10:44, 24 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This is not possible — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rackax (talkcontribs) 14:14, 17 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
