Jewish director[edit]

Just wondering, what is the whole "the film needed a jewsih director(which it did)"? I mean that is hardly an encyclopedic entry that is personal opinion, i am deleting that. // Fjafjan

Scorsese himself thought that Schindler's List needed a Jewish director. It is the personal opinion of Scorsese and not of the Wikipedia editor. (JosephASpadaro 17:13, 16 June 2007 (UTC))

what do you make of the Thus Spoke Zarathustra reference unsigned comment added by 76.217.61.194 (talk) 08:08, 7 October 2007 (UTC)

I don't think it was anything more than an effort to show that Cady was now a learned individual. His inclination for philosophy was noted in this scene, as well as when he quotes Silesius in the alley, and when we see his texts in prison.

Fair use rationale for Image:Cape fear poster.jpg[edit]

Image:Cape fear poster.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. BetacommandBot (talk) 04:58, 12 February 2008 (UTC)

Leigh Bowden's fascination with Max[edit]

I think more about Leigh Bowden's fascination with Max needs to be addressed. From my take, she lived a sad life, probably after the affairs. It seems that Max turn her on because he kept beating Sam at every turn. Maybe her attraction to Sam was that he seems like an invincible lawyer. Now this gruff maniac has rattled Sam's cage and made her feel vulnerable. Maybe the though that Cadey could have her at any time got to her. I base this on the scene were she realizes he was wearing lipstick when they went after Cadey. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.166.47.172 (talk) 20:24, 9 September 2008 (UTC)

Differences[edit]

Wouldn't it make sense to not only compare the films, but also the book The Executioners upon which the story is based? --mordicai. (talk) 16:06, 17 September 2008 (UTC)
