Coords[edit]

I think the city and/or the coords given for the tower might be wrong. The coords are very far from Columbia, North Carolina. Are there two Columbia, North Carolinas? --Shanedidona 22:26, 13 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Coords[edit]

Hate to confuse things, but perhaps it cold ultimately to clarify them. As I write, I am able to see one of the tallest broadcasting towers I have ever seen, yet I'm in Columbia, South Carolina. I expected to find this tower on the list but it's not, unless perhaps South Carolina is the correct state for the tower in question. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 172.12.74.131 (talk) 02:21, 6 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Ownership[edit]

To my knowledge Capitol Broadcasting does not own a tower at Columbia, NC. I could be wrong, but I don't think Capitol owns any media outlets that far east to warrant a broadcast tower. There is a large TV tower at Columbia owned by UNC-TV. It is a very large tower and very closely resembles the WRAL TV tower near Garner. The Columbia, NC I speak of is in Tyrell County.
