Any objections to moving this to tailfin era? -- Itai 18:44, 25 Oct 2004 (UTC)

That tailfin is an easier link than tailfin era to fit into article text (DWIM linking). —Morven 00:16, Oct 26, 2004 (UTC)
That said, it's not a major objection. I'd prefer it to tailfin (automobile) or any other kind of disambiguation. —Morven 00:17, Oct 26, 2004 (UTC)
Tailfin can be kept as a redirect for the time being. It's just that the article opens with "tailfin era" and that tailfin has several meanings. -- Itai 14:15, 26 Oct 2004 (UTC)

Another example of European fin-car: Moskvitc/AZLK 412

Dorsal fin, the predecessor of tailfin?[edit]

Is the dorsal fin of Tatra 77 a predecessor of tailfins? The aerodynamical function is the same. --Gwafton (talk) 15:17, 13 February 2012 (UTC)
