Formatting[edit]

Whatever format is used, this article and Riemann mapping theorem should have the same format, since they are so closely connected. (At present, Riemann mapping theorem has its short equations inline, which I think looks better.) --David Dumas 18:46, 18 July 2005 (UTC)

There isn't absolute agreement about displaying formulae. Generally a formula being in MathML is a necessary but not a sufficient condition for us to want it inline. I actually like displaying quite a few formulae, because it makes pages look less dense and forbidding. My reaction to the RMT page is to want to do some format work on it. (There are also some minor issues like having arrows →.)
By the way, welcome. Charles Matthews 19:30, 18 July 2005 (UTC)
