On hold[edit]

This is a very interesting article for me to review as I enjoy woodwork myself, but hardly to this standard, and I have been known to appreciate a bottle of wine now and again. There are a few points to consider:

  • I made a few minor tweaks as I went through and I hope those are okay.
  • Some extra citations are needed to comply with WP:V – see tags.
  • The narrative spans the period from 15th century Europe to Prohibition but there is nothing about cellarette design and production in the last ninety years. Another paragraph about recent and contemporary work would round things off.

Done Added: Cellarette use declined in the 20th century due to the use of the refrigerator. --Doug Coldwell (talk) 12:12, 1 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • I would drop the "see also" section because cabinetry is already linked and I think there is only a tenuous connection between a cellarette and a bar.

Excellent use of imagery. Well written and no problems with OR/POV. It's nearly there and I'll put it on hold for the time being. No Great Shaker (talk) 05:48, 1 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@No Great Shaker: All issues have been addressed. Can you take another look. Thanks. --Doug Coldwell (talk) 12:12, 1 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Passed[edit]

Well, we do need fridges, but the cellarette remains a nice piece of furniture and I'd have one myself at the right price. The amendments are fine and I'm promoting this to GA. It's the first one I've passed as part of this GAN drive. Well done, Doug. No Great Shaker (talk) 14:51, 2 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Globe bars[edit]

Globe Bars seem to be a thing of their own as a sub topic. I didn’t spot a mention.
