Requested Move[edit]

  • Oppose (1) per sources in article, plus the only GB sources are for the name as current Spanish name, not one English hit. (2) American English uses Spanish accents for Spanish names as well as many non-Spanish ones: Carmen Solá de Pereira will inevitably be mispronounced "SO-la" if the accent is removed. • Oppose. For the record, I cannot see a request for a move of this article anywhere (ordinarily they appear on this Talk Page), but since this article was recently moved from its original and long-standing title of Centro Cultural de Ponce Carmen Solá de Pereira (to Ponce Cultural Center) without any sort of discussion, and then I subsequently moved it back to its original and current title of Centro Cultural de Ponce Carmen Solá de Pereira as a controversial move, I am assuming there is a request somewhere to move the title back to read "Ponce Cultural Center" or something similar as someone had thought it should be titled. In any event, I, too, think that the title should remain Centro Cultural de Ponce Carmen Solá de Pereira because it is the name used in the majority of reliable English language published sources. My name is Mercy11 (talk) 15:12, 23 November 2012 (UTC), and I approve this message.[reply]
