Career[edit]

After leaving McDonnell Douglas, Walker became a Senior Manager of Space Programs Business Development and Marketing with The Boeing Company Washington D.C. Operations.

Did he actually leave McDonnell Douglas before it merged with Boeing, or did he simply get a new job around the same time as the company's merger? --Vrmlguy (talk) 11:41, 17 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Walker's NASA biography seems to be the source of the latter part of above quote. The "after leaving" bit seems to be an assumption by the Wikipedia editor, so I'm going to remove it. --Vrmlguy (talk) 11:41, 17 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I've also deleted {{WikiProject Politics of the United Kingdom}}. There's a British politician of the same name who is missing that designation, but I'll leave it for others to fix that one. --Vrmlguy (talk) 11:41, 17 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

What does "non-government individual" mean? Valentina Tereshkova is listed as the "first civilian in space" at List of spaceflight records --16:11 , 28 July 2017 (UTC)
