[edit]Our dtr Nell Greenfieldboyce (now at NPR) worked alongside Charles at the New Scientist D.C. office for about a year, while he was finishing "Zero", and I'm pretty sure he was full-time, not a stringer. (I think initially it was Nell that was the {full-time} stringer -- in fact, she might have gotten Charles' full-time slot when he left.) Charles came to Nell's wedding in Sept 2000, and Nell and her now-spouse Dave threw a book-signing party for Charles when "Zero" came out that was attended by the cream of the D.C. science-writer corps. (Nell said it was great for business -- she got to greet a number of people that she had been wanting to meet.) WmMBoyce (talk) 14:14, 23 July 2009 (UTC)
- um, this is nice, but is this notable or sourceable?Mercurywoodrose (talk) 06:05, 29 March 2010 (UTC)
Seife talks about wikipedia
[edit]The Link I added includes Seife claiming inaccuracies about this article and Wikipedia in general. He says this article has about 4 basic facts wrong. Costatitanica (talk) 18:42, 30 June 2014 (UTC)
- This was mentioned in this week's Signpost review of Seife's most recent book as well, see Wikipedia:Wikipedia Signpost/2014-07-30/Book review. I see some work has subsequently been done on this article. I added a cite regarding his year of graduation of Princeton, which is readily available. I don't see his birth date/year published outside public records indexes, so I did not include it per BLP policy.--Milowent • hasspoken 18:48, 4 August 2014 (UTC)
