Longest runway claim[edit]

I removed an erroneous claim that Chennault's 10,700 ft runway was the "longest of any airport between Houston and Cape Canaveral." Aside from the ambiguous nature of the claim (how far North of the line between them counts? Along the coast? ATL? BNA? ORD?,) any reasonable interpretation of the claim is clearly false. Orlando has 12,000' runways, TPA has 11,000'. Eglin AFB has 12,000'. Others likely also exist, but those are just off the top of my head. Vbscript2 (talk) 17:51, 14 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
