Christchurch Central CityCentral ChristchurchRelisted Vegaswikian (talk) 06:31, 2 January 2012 (UTC) I am not aware of "Christchurch Central City" being a proper name, so at the very least it should be decapitalised to "Christchurch central city", but I think "Central Christchurch" is better.relisted --Mike Cline (talk) 01:17, 26 December 2011 (UTC) Nurg (talk) 01:40, 18 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • Comment As somebody who actually lives there, I've always known it as 'Christchurch Central City', with that area defined as being within the 4 Avenues. Some people call it CBD, but that's certainly not correct for the area covered by the 4 Aves, because it has quite a large residential population and there's more to it than just business. For what it's worth, the article name was discussed before the article was written on the template talk page. As yet, I haven't got a strong opinion yet, but I'm not (yet) in favour of calling it 'Central Christchurch'; that's certainly much less common than what the article is called now.
