Clean up needed[edit]

I don't mind it, but this article has serious shortcomings which another editor could flag, and could, consequently, lead to decimation. I am talking the unreferenced and anecdotal nature of the copy, especially the Green Day para. I imagine the forthcoming film will cover some of it, but if someone has a Green Day bio, perhaps they could do some tidy up? Wwwhatsup (talk) 05:35, 6 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, this article could definitely use references. Does anybody have Amy & Steven's book "No Slam Dancing.."? One could also reference more articles like http://www.nj.com/entertainment/index.ssf/2014/03/no_slam_dancing_amy_yates_daily_show_city_gardens.html#incart_river_default I wish the Empire Rock Club had such references! Since the book is an oral history, mostly anecdotal, it's hard to say how much it could be considered a reliable source. But certainly there is consensus there over certain events, and details of things like when CG got shut down by the City. Wwwhatsup (talk) 07:41, 23 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
