This concept is not exclusive to Hong Kong, there are temples for "town deity" in most of the ancient cities of China. --Voidvector 00:27, 2 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Replaced by an essay?
This article seems to have been replaced by someone's essay which combines Wikipedia and other sources, which, ironically, seems to refer back to this very article. --PalaceGuard008 (Talk) 04:06, 4 June 2011 (UTC)
