Clan badge[edit]

The image is incorrect. It gives the motto as 'Instaurator Iruinae' but it should be 'Instaurator Ruinae'. Billtkd (talk) 17:49, 17 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Etymology[edit]

"Man of peace" would be fear sìthe, stressed on sì, not fearsithe. (This isn't a decisive argument, though, cf. dhachaigh <== do thigh). Good linguistic sources on Gaelic surnames, anyone? 89.64.25.61 (talk) 20:26, 7 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
