Reworked article[edit]

I've reworked the article as best I can to cover the team founded in 1869; the modern-day Sunday league team is not notable enough for anything more than a passing mention in this article, as Sunday league sides are not notable enough for inclusion. Qwghlm 14:31, 8 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Rugby[edit]

This article makes no mention of whether Clapham played rugby union as well as Association football. There seems to be information around suggesting they did play rugby at some point, and may well have played both. This is supported by the fact that Reg Birkett played both codes of football. Here are some links; [1] [2]. Could anyone shed some light on this? - Shudde talk 14:15, 10 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Dissolution[edit]

Regarding the Sunday League side - they are still entitled to trinagular corner flags as although a long descendant of the winning FA Cup side they are considered (to the best of my knowledge) to be the same club (i.e. continual registration) by the London FA (their parent County FA) and therefore never technically dissolved. 81.158.81.245 (talk) 20:45, 30 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

"entitled to triangular corner flags" - I've never heard anything about certain teams having a special entitlement of this kind, what does it refer to.......? -- ChrisTheDude (talk) 10:51, 28 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
