Untitled[edit]

DOES ANYBODY KNOW CLAUDE MCKAY? Yes, my teacher has given me a project on him, he is a very interesting character.

He has proved to be more interesting than I have presumed when my assignment was given.

Claude McKay[edit]

I am writing a research paper about Claude McKay and I too have found his works to be more interesting than I thought they would be. I love his poetry. He had an excellent way of using literary elements to express his views of life. With me being an inspiring poet, I am very happy that I was able to research McKay. Before this paper I did not know of Claude McKay or his works. I heard he's bisexual. Is this true or is this some random rumor?

If We Must Die[edit]

This poem was published in 1919, but the section on McKay's visit to the USSR in 1922-1923 claims that it was inspired by that visit. The latter claim must be incorrect. 69.243.62.70 (talk) 20:39, 8 October 2013 (UTC)
