Modern Coat of Arms[edit]

as the modern coat of arms was deleted from the wikimedia commons, could we use it under free use on this page like on the Canadian Coat of Arms page? (also does anyone have the original SVG, it seems to have dropped off the face of the internet. if not I have a PNG from a government website) Thespündragon 21:00, 4 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Sources needed[edit]

We need reliable sources for the following:

Coats of Arms of the Crusader Kingdom of Cyprus
Coat of Arms of the Ottoman Eyalet of Cyprus
Coats of Arms and Royal Badges of the British Crown Colony of Cyprus

assistance would be appreciated! Thespündragon 22:49, 30 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Mislabeling of the Copyright-Free Version as an Officially Used Coat of Arms from 2006 to 2023 & Help with the Copyright Status of the Correct Version[edit]

The version of the coat of arms created to avoid copyright is mislabelled, as you can see in the screenshot, saying that it was actually used officially from 2006 to 2023, and a new image created recently that indeed fits what has been used by the government is labelled as though the change happened recently (though the font of the date (1960) looks different).

Now I was just going to delete the second copyright-free image & simply relabel the new accurate image correctly, but I am not sure if the copyright for the correct version has been changed, and if it has not then the new image will have to be removed instead; the source provided by the image's creator doesn't state anything about copyright and I have been unable to find where I can look it up, so if someone could find it out before any of the two images are removed it would be greatly appreciated.

I am still relabelling the images though, the information given is simply incorrect. Hutreb (talk) 11:26, 1 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
