On April 2, 2006 the section on coins was removed by an anonymous user. It was later restored, but information about the $1,000 coin was lost. I've restored that information Nik42 07:17, 28 November 2006 (UTC)

20-peso coin?[edit]

The infobox for the article says that the 50-peso coin is the smallest circulating, but the in-article table lists the 20-peso as the smallest circulating coin. Which one is correct? Nik42 16:40, 14 November 2007 (UTC) Well, bot coins are used, but the 20 peso coin is used by Supermarkets and big Stores, while the 50 peso coin is used by everyone who lives in Colombia. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 190.66.160.4 (talk) 02:11, 7 November 2010 (UTC)

ambiguity regarding coin circulation[edit]

this line is ambiguous for me: " By 2002, the coin was out of circulation " -- does this mean that ALL coins are out of circulation now or just the last coin referred to -??? 64.58.178.213 (talk) 00:48, 26 September 2008 (UTC)

In the past[edit]

  • 8 Reales = 1 Peso
  • 10 Centavos = 1 Decimo
  • 100 Centavos = 1 Peso Böri (talk) 11:58, 15 February 2012 (UTC)
