who are the founding states of COMESA? Dates of joining of the others? Alinor 22:36, 1 January 2006 (UTC)

It says on the COMESA webpage that only 11 members of COMESA are in a FTA. Not all 20.

Contradiction in Libya's Joining Date[edit]

In the preamble Libya is said to have joined COMESA in 2006 where in the list further below the date is 2005

I don't think this is a contradiction. As I read it, Libya joined COMESA in 2005, but didn't join the COMESA Free Trade Area (which is not the same thing) until 2006. (For example, the Comoros joined COMESA in 1981, but also didn't join the FTA until 2006.) I will remove the 'self-contradict' tag. Terraxos (talk) 01:47, 18 December 2007 (UTC)

South Sudan[edit]

What about South Sudan? Only because of the separation from Sudan they do not are automatically still member. On Comesa-Webpage South Sudan is not listed...
