Notability[edit]

When I first came across this article, I had doubts about it passing WP:BIO (based on the minimal references). There are still too few refs, but I satisfied myself that she meets WP:AUTHOR: (4d) "The person's work ... is represented within the permanent collections of several notable galleries or museums, or had works in many significant libraries."

I don't believe that the actual number required to count as "many significant libraries" is defined anywhere, but the above sounded like "many" to me. Now, we just need some more sources… Dori ❦ (Talk ❖ Contribs ❖ Review) ❦ 08:34, 31 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Issues Fixed[edit]

I have added several sources for many statements made in the article. I have also cited the author's own website, as WP:IRS states that self-published information may be used as sources of information about themselves as long as "the material is not unduly self-serving."

In addition, I added authorlinks directed to this entry in other Wikipedia entries using Kirk's work as a cited source (including Mark Twain, Sylvia Plath, and Places in Harry Potter.BKred (talk) 02:33, 12 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
