hello. what is the link between Corrymeela Community and Coventry Cathedral?

Writing style needs work[edit]

Right now, this article reads too much like a brochure and not an encyclopedia entry. It uses non-journalistic language, first-person pronouns, and too much descriptive language. To improve this entry, its style should be shifted to that of a factual article. I'll take a stab at this in a bit, if anyone wants to try before then please feel free. Hey 78.143.200.55 - thank you very much for taking an interest in keeping this page up-to-date - edits here are highly appreciated. That said, I'm afraid your recent edit, a list of the LTV volunteers for 2008, is not Wikipedia appropriate material. The general purpose of Wikipedia's content is as an encyclopedia, rather than as a news site or bulletin for a society. Thus, having a list of leaders of the community is considered general information about Corrymeela, but a list of volunteers for a particular year is probably best put in a n Wikipedia list notable alumni but not members of a particular graduating class. The other issue here is privacy - listing the full names of volunteers who may not themselves be aware of the posting can be a dubious practice. So I'm sorry that I had to delete your edit, and I hope you'll contribute here in the future. :) FlyingToaster (talk) 15:21, 13 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
